'Skyline Trail' was part of an initiative to bring DATAStream's service to younger audiences via the Sega Mega Drive and Genesis games consoles. Unfortunately, due to licensing issues and a number of miscommunications collaborative efforts never came to pass.

Despite this, two titles were planned by the team at DATA labs, including 'Skyline Trail', designed to accompany a forthcoming racing title and 'Star Racer' which was originally intended to have it's own IP associated with it.

Instead, the technicians spent some (but not much) time working on a promotional video to accompany the single which you can watch below.
