  • The third instalment of DATAdisk, exploring the limitations and possibilities of magnetic storage media, owes it's sound to the wonderful Roland JV series of synthesiser workstations, in particular the JV-1000 which was used for the majority of the recordings here.

Each disk contains standard General-MIDI type 1 versions of the songs, plus bonus digital content, sticker sheet and GM reference card.

COMPATIBILITY - Whilst these floppies are brand new and have been tested on Windows 7 - 10 and some hardware MIDI sequencers, I cannot be sure they will be compatible with all operating systems and setups. Please get in touch if you're unsure.

about

The third instalment of DATAdisk, exploring the limitations and possibilities of magnetic storage media, owes it's sound to the wonderful Roland JV series of synthesiser workstations, in particular the JV-1000 which was used for the majority of the recordings here.

DATAdisk Vol. 3 features 5 previously unreleased songs from the DATAStream archives, presented in both audio and MIDI media formats* - transferred from the original multitimbral project files.

Sit back, grab a coffee and bathe in the sentimental sounds of yesteryear...

*(MIDI type 1 files floppy diskette only)
